The Gospel according to St Malcolm

1. And they brought unto Jesus a sick baby, saying "Master, wilt thou heal this child, or at least take him to Rome, where he may be cared for?"

2. But Jesus said, "Nay, I will not fight against the doctors, who say that he is better off dead.

3. For I say unto you, the weak and helpless ye will always have with you.

4. But do not give unto them food and drink, for it will make you unpopular with the judges, the soldiers, and indeed the doctors."

5. And His disciples marvelled, and said "It is true. For we have heard the story of the Good Shepherd.

6. Who when one of his sheep is in danger, kicketh it into the ditch and goeth off to look after the ones who are healthy."

"Watch out, here comes the Good Shepherd!"

7. So the disciples issued a statement, explaining that they had full confidence in the doctors, and especially their wish to take away from the baby his food, his drink, the air he breathed, and - if possible - his parents.

8. "The professionalism of those who have decided that the child must die quickly is recognised and affirmed," they said.

9. For they spake always in that fashion.

10. Then Jesus gave them a parable, telling of the man who was attacked and robbed on the road to Damascus.

11. And there came by a Samaritan, who seeing that the man was injured and near to death, took him to an inn and starved him.

12. "I tell you, the Samaritan was a neighbour to the man attacked by robbers. Go and do thou likewise."

"See that he doesn't get any food or drink."

    1. I read that the House of Horrors, Alder Hey, refuses to release Alfie's body to his parents. Read it on CM.

    1. No, it was just the best picture I could find.

  5. The health professionals (HaHaHa!) at Alder Hey, the police and judiciary and not forgetting Archbishop McMahon and his brother bishops, aware of the 36 hour news cycle, can sleep easier tonight and sit down to their gourmet Sunday lunches tomorrow without any fear of indigestion afterwards. Rest in peace, Alfie.

  6. I can think of no further outrage the Alder Hey Prison can inflict on these parents than to deny them his body, but I will not be surprised if they do. Betraying their motives (fear, the devils!) they may wish to deprive his parents the body, lest they have the baby analyzed and discover the negligence or culpability of the prison guards and warden. Perhaps they need more baby organs to sell? Apparently they have a thriving business, and parents were not notified in other cases.
Great article Eccles. Do you think Great Britain realizes what it has done with this murder of a baby in full public view of the world? I wonder. This has only just begun.

  7. British Catholic bishops: hah! What a bunch of mealy-mouthed politicians! I am ashamed, as usual, of them! They may as well be C of E. You will note they don't stand up much against abortion, or much of the now institutionalised wickedness -- they might offend the State and not get asked to the garden parties. Oh, where are the great and valiant Catholics ecclesiastics of yore?

  8. Oh, how I love this Bible story, Eccles! My next favorite is the one where Jesus makes a lame man blind.

  9. "Kicketh it into a ditch" LOL! exactly, dear Eccles. I almost have come to expect this sort of thing from the powers that be in our once great country but from our Bishops? It breaks my heart. They are NOT friends of our darling Lord Jesus. They are like Judas.

  10. If Alfie and his parents had been Muslims he would have been flown out on a British Royal Air Force jet to Mecca's King Abdullah Hospital. No doubt about that. But in the best interest of little Catholic Alfie Evans, it was better that he be killed. Just one more way of ridding the world of Christians.

Hoping no other child and his parents have to go through this ordeal, but it would be interesting to see how Alder Hey's actions would differ if the next child is Islamic.
